Apatitic

In reference to fossils, it is used for those containing the mineral apatite.  In the 1800's, noted paleontologist William Buckland referred to this mineral as phosphate of lime.  Hydroxyapatite and fluorapatite are forms of this mineral that are commonly found in bone, teeth and fossils.
